The court this day reappoints D. T. Templin guardian of the Minor Heirs of John Bird Deceased. In appearing to the court that the bond heretofore given was on the 30^th day of Dec. 1876 accidentally destroyed by fire in the burning of the court house of Cocke County together with the record of his appointment and there upon the said D. T. Templin being present in court accepts said appointment and enters into bond and was qualified as such as the law directs and to the court accepts the bond this day tendered in lieu of the original which bond was recorded in the guardian Bond Books No1 of Cocke county and made a part of the record of this court.

STATE OF TENNESSEE, COCKE COUNTY

We David T. Templin, John Hicks, and Abraham Denton are held and firmly bound to the State of Tennessee, in the penal sum of Twenty five hundred dollars.

Witness our hands and seals, this 2^nd day of April 1877. The Condition of the above Obligation is such, That, whereas, the above bound David T. Templin has been appointed Guardian of A. J. Bird and Nancy A. Bird, minor heirs of John Bird deceased.

Now, if the said David T. Templin, shall well and truly perform the duties which are, or may be, required of him by law as such Guardian, then this obligation shall be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.

Templin being present in court accepts said appointment and enters into bond and was qualified as such as the required by law and qualified as such which bond is recorded in the guardian bond book No1 of Cocke county and made a part of the record of this court.

Witness our hands and seals, this 1^st day of October 1877. The Condition of the above Obligation is such, That, whereas, the above bound David T. Templin has been appointed Guardian of George, Richard, David and Catherine Templin, minor heirs of Isaac Templin deceased.
