WILLIAM TEMPLIN 1834 File # 9124 AT an The petition of James
Templin Adm. of William Templin late of Humbly showeth That the said
intestate left issue four children – to wit- John, William, George, and your
petitioner and three grand children (the children of Susan one of the daughters
of said intestate, who intermarried with David Marys and deceased before said
intestate) to wits William, George and Emeline each of which said grand
children are minors. That the personal
estate of said intestate is insufficient to pay his debts, as by the account
herewith produced appears, that the said intestate died seized in his demise as
of fee of and in a certain messuage, plantation and
tract of land, situate in East Vincent aforesaid, bounded by land of Wm.
Shuler, Samuel Bartolet and others. Containing sixty
acres, more or less with the appurtenances – also of and in a certain wood lot,
bound by lands of Samuel Bartolet and Wm. Shuler
containing four acres and fifty six perches more or less, situate in the same
township. Your petitioner
therefore prays your honors to grant him an order to make sale of the said messauge and plantation and wood lot, with the appurtenances,
for the payments of the debt and the maintenance and education of the said
minors. And he will seal James Templin NOTE: In another
court document James Templin states that his father, William Templin died
intestate in May or June 1834. |
